Nearly 50 dedicated volunteers were honored for their extraordinary contributions throughout 2024, transforming the Area IV community into a truly exceptional place to call home.
The evening was a testament to the power of selfless service. USAG Daegu Commander Col. Dave Henning took to the podium, his voice filled with sincere appreciation. “Your efforts as volunteers are what transforms the Area IV community from a nice place to live and work into the best and most desirable assignment in Korea,” he said, acknowledging the tangible difference they make in the lives of service members and their families.
He continued, addressing the room full of honorees, “On behalf of all the leaders both present and unable to attend tonight, we are deeply indebted to your selfless service and your commitment to giving back. You truly embody the spirit of our garrison motto: Make a Difference.”
